I had read ‘Turtles All the Way Down’ in the summer of 2017. Today, after finishing my second reading of the book I’d say the relevance of this book has only increased in my life.

The first time I read this book, it struck a chord. For the first time in forever I had a name for all the things I had been feeling and all the thoughts that crossed my mind. The book introduced me to the ‘spiral’ I had lived half my life in. 

The characters in the book are full of lives and have a wide range of emotions making them so much more real. While in a way, the book ends right where it began, the entire journey the characters take us through is hopeful.

“Noone ever says good-bye unless they want to see you again.” 
And finishing the book with that! it made me thinking of every person who puts an effort to make goodbyes special, and a dialogue from one of my favourite #bollywood movie “यह जाने से पहेले एक आख़िरी बार मिलना क्यूँ ज़रूरी होता है?”
